So, you've finally found the perfect products, making your hair shiny, smooth and manageable. Plus they smell great, they're natural and affordable. But after a while it seems like you don't achieve those fantastic results you are so used to. It's time to clarify! No matter how great your new favorite products are, it's important to remember the necessity of clarifying with a shampoo that is completely different than the shampoo and products you normally use. After a while, residue buildup (not only of shampoos and conditioners, but of hard water and styling products) will weigh your hair down, make it flat, frizzy, lifeless and devoid of shine. It doesn't have to be a shampoo deamed a clarifying shampoo. Just one with different ingredients than you normally use. Use it about every 4th wash, but no more, as some shampoos will dry out your hair. Especially those deamed clarifying shampoos.
